WHAT, NO BIKE?

do you ever feel like you grew up in the wrong era? i am convinced that i should have been around for the 50's and 60's.

i know that if i did, i'd be the james dean type rebel, think shia lebouf in the new indiana jones flick. i think it would have been even cooler if i grew up in london during those days. then i could have been a proper ton-up boy.

ton-up boys, rockers, boy racers, whatever you want to call them were member of this crazy counterculture in 60's england. they would all hang out at greasy spoon cafetarias like the notorious ace cafe, put a song on the jukebox and race around the highway on stripped triumph's, bsa's, norton's, etc.. and try to make it back before the song ended. you were only allowed to rock ton-up status if you hit 100 mph. yes please.

roll the footage...

i'm on the lookout for a bike like that or at least a 70's honda cb750 to build my own cafe racer out of. you should get one too, then we can ride together!

word is bond like glue,
bam
